Ospreys Go 2-2 During Stay in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. - UNF took care of Louisiana-Monroe, 4-1, in the first match of the day before falling by the same score to host No. 15 Arizona on its final day in Tucson, Arizona, Saturday, March 16.

UNF 4, ULM 1

Carolyn Cain and Blaire Register kept clicking, putting UNF ahead, 1-0, with a straight sets win.
Dana Roskic along with Callie Workman and Madilyn McCarty and Nicole DeBolt followed suit, sweeping their matches to clinch the matches.
UNF had two new combos at pairs one and two with Antonia Harrison and Brittany Pase swapping spots. Harrison and Lauren Galinis were clipped in three sets, while Chaney Howard and Pase earned a tight, three-set win, at one.

No. 15 UA 4, UNF 1

Roskic and Workman secured UNF's lone point at number four. The pair defeated Jasmine Safar and Sarah Blacker, 21-18, 14-21, 15-11.
Register and Cain were upended for the first time this season.
The Ospreys kept the same lineup that was utilized against ULM.

Wright's Words
"Today we came out firing with a really nice victory against ULM. I think we could've executed better against No. 15 Arizona, but they are all things in our control. Winning matches like that [against Arizona] is our goal. We are leaving Arizona a better team and are excited to head to California to continue to get better." -- Head coach Kristen Wright

UNF has played four matches against ranked opponents this season.
North Florida has played three of four Division I opponents in Arizona.
The Ospreys are 5-2 against ULM all-time.
Today was Arizona and UNF's first meeting.
