Recapping 2018
- The Ospreys are coming off a 19-12 season in which they went 7-3 in a tough ASUN Conference.
- UNF topped FGCU twice in the ASUN Tournament, although nationally-ranked Stetson got in the way of a conference tournament title by downing the Ospreys twice.
Gettin' Familiar
- The Ospreys' roster is 20 deep this season, featuring two in Taryn Griffey and Chaney Howard that received ASUN postseason honors a year ago.
- The duo went 17-13 as a duo last season at the number two slot. Nicole DeBolt and Madilyn McCarty both return after going 15-7 as a pair at number five.
- Brittany Pase won seven of eight matches during a critical point in the league year to help propel the Ospreys to the ASUN final.
- Howard made ASUN First Team in 2018 and was recognized as ASUN Pair of the Week with partner Taryn Griffey in 2018.
- Nicole DeBolt finished with a 20-10 mark playing mainly at the No. 4 position with Madilyn McCarty, and picked up 16 straight set victories.
- Howard was recognized as a member of the ASUN Preseason All-Conference Team. She was also the Fan-Voted Preseason Player of the Year.
New Ospreys
- Freshman Dana Roskic, the Toronto native, played at Richview Collegiate Institute before becoming an Osprey.
- Junior Antonia Harrison joins the Ospreys all the way from New Zealand. Harrison previously studied and played at Trinidad State Junior College.
- The Ospreys have 5 freshman on the squad this 2019 season.
A Tough Schedule
- The AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Preseason Poll was announced Monday, Feb. 11, and included on that list of teams at least receiving votes are 12 teams set to play North Florida this upcoming season.

Florida Southern
- The Mocs finished 22-11 and 13-7 in conference last season.
- After opening its home slate against UT-Martin, the Moccasins will travel to Charleston, SC for four matches against College of Charleston (March 8 & March 10), Carson-Newman (March 9), Huntingdon (March 9), and Texas A&M-Kingsville (March 10).
No. 19/20 TCU
- The Frogs finished 10-22 in their 2018 season although they come in ranked in national polls in 2019.
- The 2019 season is TCU's first as a member of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA).
- Kathryn Kramer and Rochelle Scott join the 2019 class that includes Camille Burman, Trinity Cavanaugh, Ally Polverari and Lauren Turner. All six student-athletes joined the team in the fall.

- The FAU Owls are ranked 20th in AVCA Preseaon Poll.
- The Owls were 18-15 overall in 2018, and 3-8 in conference play.
- FAU posted back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in program history and sent two teams to the National Pairs Championship in Hermosa Beach, California.
Webber International
- The Warriors are 2-0 after spending last weekend in Miami defeating Ave Maria and Florida Memorial with a pair of 5-0 wins.
- The wins also marked the first two victories for the Warriors' new head coach, Jessica Gehrke-Hauptmann.
