JACKSONVILLEÂ - Led by seniors Adrienne Jackson and Janesha Green, North Florida women's basketball topped Edward Waters, 80-51, to close up 2019 and the non-conference portion of the schedule.

- North Florida raced out to a 21-6 lead thanks to a 20-4 run. Edward Waters closed the gap with a little 4-0 run, but UNF ended the first with a pair of free throws to lead 25-10.
- The second quarter was a different look for the Ospreys as they scored just nine points and shot 21 percent from the floor for a 34-19 lead at the break.
- Edward Waters got to within 10 early in the third quarter, but UNF used a 19-7 stretch to put distance between the teams and never looked back.Â
- The Ospreys shot 71 percent in the third quarter and outscored the visitors, 25-16.
- In the final frame, the Ospreys took their biggest lead, 65-35, thanks to a layup from Moore.
- Victoria Patrick hit a final three-pointer to give UNF 80 points for the second time in as many games.

- With her 20 points, Jackson moves into seventh place in the UNF Division I record book with 743 points, passing former teammate Sierra Shepherd. She needs eight more to move into sixth.
- North Florida finishes above .500 in non-conference play for just the second time in the DI era.
- The Ospreys reached 80 or more points for eighth time under coach Gibbs and the 11th in the program's Division I history. UNF last had back-to-back wins with 80 or more points in 2016 vs. Webber (103) and FAU (95).Â
- Jackson hit 20 or more points for the fourth time in her career and it is her first time recording back-to-back 20-point outings.
- Green ties for sixth in the UNF record book with her 12 made free throws. She hit 11 against Alabama A&M earlier this season.
- Patrick has now hit a three in the last four games she has appeared in. She missed four games due to an injury.
