Â
Women's 10,000m (Field of 48 runners with Top 12 finishers advancing to Nationals)
- Eden making third career trip to NCAA East Prelims... Advanced to NCAA Nationals last year earning 2nd-team All-American honors
Coach Pigg says - "It has been another very good year for Eden. She is fresh off of graduation and has had time to get rejuvenated after a long year. We were really low key early in the season and now she is feeling great. It is nice to be headed to the regional with her feeling fit and hungry to race."
Alyssa Young
Women's High Jump (2 flights of 24 jumpers competing simultaneously with Top 12 advancing to Nationals)
- Alyssa making third consecutive NCAA East Prelim appearance
Coach Pigg says - "Alyssa has been jumping very well over the past few weeks. Coach Krupa has engineered her training to foster a peak late in the year, and she is jumping very well. She has nice clearances, but there is more in the tank, and I think she will find it in Tampa."
Claudia Jalon
Women's 1500m (1st Rd: 4 heats of 12 with Top 5 from each heat + next 4 best times advancing to quarterfinals | QF: 2 heats of 12 with Top 5 from each heat + next 2 best times advancing to Nationals)
- Claudia is making her NCAA East Prelim debut
Coach Pigg says - "Claudia has been very good in championship races. She has been consistent throughout the year, and now it is time to go to the next level, Her international experience should be very helpful and we expect great things from her on Thursday."

- Nick is making his third career appearance in the NCAA East Prelim
Coach Pigg says - "While Nick qualified in both the 800m and 1500m, we decided to run him in just the 1500. Â He loves the 1500. He ran fast early and we both know he can go quite a bit faster. He has focused on speed late in the year and his double at conference showed he has both strength and speed. He is in a good place as we head to Tampa."
Tyler Stahl
Men's 1500m (1st Rd: 4 heats of 12 with Top 5 from each heat + next 4 best times advancing to quarterfinals | QF: 2 heats of 12 with Top 5 from each heat + next 2 best times advancing to Nationals)
- Tyler is closing out his career with his second consecutive appearance in the NCAA East Prelim
Coach Pigg says - "A native of Tampa, Tyler is looking forward to his second trip to East Regionals. He has had a tremendous season. During the year he balanced an internship and practice and handled it well, but now after graduation he is very relaxed and feeling even better. He graduated on the day he ran his PR of 3:43, now he is headed back home to Tampa for the East Regional. It could be exciting as he has been able to deliver on storybook endings. Tyler and Nick are Florida natives, so they are embracing the potential for hot heat and humid conditions, and looking forward to racing in their home state."
Fynn Timm
Men's 3000m Steeplechase (3 heats of 16 with Top 3 from each heat + next 3 best times advancing to Nationals)
- Fynn is making his third consecutive appearance in the NCAA East Prelim
Coach Pigg says - "Fynn has rounded into good shape over the past few weeks. After a mysterious illness took him out of indoor, he has bounced back nicely. He is just now getting in shape. In past years, he would be kind of worn out as he headed to regionals but this year he is just getting started. We are expecting a lifetime best from Fynn."
