THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP (Head Coach Jeff Pigg)
"The beautiful weather and great competition yielded many personal bests today. Our kids competed very well and are on track for some more success in the next few weeks."
"Nick Morken had a nice race and competed very well, running a PR and school record and posting an NCAA East Regional qualifying time. We can see his training coming into play in the 800m. George Escobar ran a very poised race and competed well. He is a tough competitor. Damian Lewis beat his collegiate best mark in the high jump and moved into second in the conference. He continues to work hard and improve. Tyler Stahl ran another solid 1500m and is looking forward to running at Georgia Tech next week, while Leo Queyrou and Christian Conder both had PRs in the event."
UP NEXT:
North Florida returns to the track next week (Apr. 20-21) at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
