Ospreys Open ASUN Play Against Dolphins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball opens its ASUN play on Wednesday with a River City Rumble matchup against rival Jacksonville at Dolphin Beach. The match is a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.

-Â The Ospreys are just one win away from 100 in program history in just the seventh year of the program as UNF is 99-54.
- Courtney Miller and Carina Hoff were named the ASUN Pair of the Week after picking up three wins last weekend in the Diggin' Duals including a straight set win over ASUN foe Mercer.
- Miller needs just six more wins to tie the program record for wins at 56. She sits in a tie for third with 50 victories after last weekend's performance.
- Freshman Carolyn Cain carries a team-high eight wins into play on Wednesday having played primarily in the No. 4 & No. 5 position this season.
- Taryn Griffey and Chaney Howard lead the Ospreys as a pair with seven victories

- Jacksonville comes into play after a 2-2 weekend in Saint Leo that saw the Dolphins grab wins over Florida Southern and the hosts.
- The Ospreys already hold a 4-1 victory over the Dolphins a few weeks ago in Columbia, S.C.
- The Dolphins No. 2 pair of Morgan Dees and Katie Krawczyk picked up three wins to lead the way last weekend for JU.
- UNF has won each of its last seven meetings against Jacksonville and has won 17 of 19 overall meetings with the Dolphins.
