TROY, Ala. - North Florida women's tennis took down Troy, 5-2, as the Ospreys swept the weekend.

- North Florida battled back from dropping the doubles point with wins at the No. 1, 4 and 5 spots to take a 3-1 advantage.
- Freshman Eva Nyikos clinched the match for UNF as she took her opponent, 6-4 in the final set.

"Although we fought in doubles, we started it flat and tight, which cost us the points. We came out in singles with a lot of energy and competing very well. Our returners set the tone by getting their matches first, and getting their teammates going. Being up 3-1, we had three freshman left to give us the win. Our freshman represented us so well and kept fighting to compete and I am so happy that they had the opportunity to be the ones deciding the match for us to realize what playing as a team really means." - Head Coach Mariana Cobra
