Ospreys Fall To Panthers

Jacksonville, Fla. – North Florida men's tennis dropped a 4-3 decision this afternoon to Georgia State at the UNF Tennis Complex to kick off two-match home stand.
QUICK HITS
- Senior Lasse Muscheites and junior Sahil Deshmukh moved to 4-0 in doubles play in dual matches.
- Muscheites moved to 5-2 as he bounced back from dropping the opening set 7-5 to win back-to-back set at No. 2 singles.
- Deshmukh picked up his third win in singles as he won the opening set 7-5 before Georgia State tied the match at a set apiece. Deshmukh then won the third set tiebreak 10-2 to grab the victory.
- In the number six match, Joe Ellis came back from a 6-4 loss to pick up a 6-4 win and win his tiebreak 10-4.

"Congrats to Jon and Georgia State they do a great job with cohesiveness and right now we have a bunch of individuals out there right now. Until we learn to be a team we will have close loses to good teams. I truly believe we are better than this, but those eight guys need to come together to become a unified unit. Once that happens we will be fine."
