NEWARK, N.J. - North Florida women's basketball looks to make it two in a row on the road in ASUN play as it takes on NJIT on Monday at 7 p.m. at the new Wellness and Event Center (WEC).

>> UNF is looking to take a win back from NJIT as the Highlanders grabbed on its home floor last year. However - this is the first time the Ospreys and NJIT meet at the new WEC.

North Florida is 7-2 on this day in program history and actually played at NJIT on this day in 2016 after the game was delayed for a day due to a snowstorm. The Ospreys have won four straight games in ASUN play on this date.

LAST TIME VS NJIT

Tesh Hanson nearly had a double-double with 18 points and eight rebounds in the final game against NJIT last season (2/13/17).
UNF held the Highlanders to 29 percent from the floor.
NJIT owned an advantage after the 1st quarter, but UNF bounced back with a 20-12 second to take a 28-24 lead into break.
Three straight triples from North Florida followed by three layups gave the Ospreys their biggest lead of the game, 43-28 and they never looked back.
Adrienne Jackson picked up a season-high five steals, while Maiya Rumph recorded three blocks.
