
River City Rumble Postseason Edition Set for Saturday

DeLAND, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball begins the postseason with a familiar foe in River City rival Jacksonville at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Court at Stetson.

QUICK HITS
- North Florida is looking to run through the bracket for its fourth ASUN Tournament Title. UNF won last year in a thrilling down-to-the-wire three-set win in the No. 2 courts.
- The Ospreys are 3-0 against the Dolphins in postseason. Last year, the two teams met on day two of the tournament with North Florida grabbing a 4-1 win.
- All-Conference first team honorees Katarina Raicevic and Courtney Miller pace the team with 14 wins, while Shannon McPherson and Nicole DeBolt enter the tournament with an 11-match win streak on their side.
- Overall, UNF is 15-4 in the ASUN tournament.

The winner of JU/UNF will go on to play the top-ranked Hatters while the losing side plays the loser of No. 3 FGCU/No. 2 Mercer.
The dual will serve as the first of eight in the double-elimination tournament bracket. Each dual will be played on the Cooper Beach Volleyball Court at Stetson.Â
