Ospreys Continue ASUN Action vs. Coastal Carolina, Mercer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball continues ASUN play on Friday as it faces off with Coastal Carolina and Mercer. The Chanticleers are up first at 10 a.m. before Mercer in the afternoon at 2 p.m. Play continues on Saturday at 10 a.m. and noon.

COASTAL NOTES
- CCU's No. 1 seeds and No. 5 seeds both defeated FGCU this past weekend, extending top pairing Natasa Savovic and Tahleia Bishop's win streak to three-straight matches
- Savovic and Bishop have combined for a team-best six wins this season, as Savovic is one away from tying her single-season high of seven match victories
- The Chanticleers will be playing North Florida as well as Jacksonville for the first time in program history and need two wins, with at least one coming against the Dolphins, in order to guarantee a spot in the ASUN Championship
MERCER NOTES
- Mercer's lone losses in the ASUN are to No. 9 Stetson.
- Emily Krogman and Tori Penrod are the No. 1 pair for the Bears and own a 14-7 mark in that spot along with a 4-3 mark in ASUN action.
- In the No. 3 position, Danielle Faust and Claire Waliczek have paired up to record a 5-2 league record along with a 13-8 overall record.
- Wrapping up the other top spot in the lineup, Emma Peel and Sophie Peel own a 10-7 record in the No. 2 position.
- The duo of Jessica Johnson and Gretja Otten have had all of their No. 4 position victories come in ASUN play as the pair owns a 4-1 mark.Â
