JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's tennis downed James Madison in the first match, 4-3, before shutting out Savannah State, 7-0, on Thursday at the UNF Tennis Courts.

QUICK HITS
- North Florida battled in game one against the Dukes. Three matches went to three sets with UNF winning two of those.
- UNF won the doubles point for the sixth straight match.
- Junior Luise Intert clinched the match for the Ospreys in the opening match of the day. She bounced back after dropping set two and shut out her opponent in the final frame.
- Sophomore Rafaela Gomez continued her win streak in the No. 2 spot. She dropped the opening set and responded with two straight victories.
- In the No. 3 spot, Quetzali Vazquez won both her matches.
- In the second match of the day, North Florida only dropped a total of seven total games in the shut out.
