ASUN Academic Honor Roll (2015-16 | 2014-15)


As a Senior (2016-17)

- Posted a 21-7 singles record overall including a 14-4 mark in dual matches across the No. 2-4 positions
- Went 5-1 in ASUN play in the No. 4 spot
- Tallied a 17-15 doubles mark including a 12-9 record at the No. 1 position
- Paired with Luise Inert to go 13-8
- Also played with Irina Karangozishvili
- Made it to the finals of the Bedford Cup, falling to FIU's Mina Markovic
- Picked up two wins in the ASUN Tournament to earn all-tournament honors and help UNF clinch its third straight ASUN Championship
- Had a season-long seven match win streak from March 9-April 8


As a Junior (2015-16)

- Earned second team doubles honors with Noemi Hemmerich
- Had a season-long nine-match win streak from March 18-April 16
- Went 19-17 overall and 12-6 in single duals
- Posted a 6-0 mark in conference action
- Had a team-best 17 doubles wins including a 4-0 record in conference play ... was 9-5 with Hemmerich at the No. 1 spot
- Grabbed two victories against nationally-ranked teams in singles play
- Made it to the final four at the Bedford Cup (October 16)
- Won the Championship match at the Bedford with Hemmerich
- Shut out FGCU's Elizabeth Means (April 7) to help UNF get a share of the regular season title
- Was leading the No. 5 position against FGCU (April 24) when the UNF clinched the tournament title
- Named to the A-Sun Honor Roll.


As a Sophomore (2014-15)

- Had an impressive sophomore campaign, leading the team in overall singles victories (25), overall doubles victories (25)
- Earned second team honors with doubles partner Marina Cunningham for No. 3 doubles
- Went 25-11 overall in singles competition, including 14-5 in dual matches and 11-6 in tournaments
- Posted a 4-1 Atlantic Sun singles mark
- Rode an eight-match winning streak (Feb. 6-Mar. 11), winning all matches in two sets during that spurt
- Clinched that Atlantic Sun Championship match point (Apr. 19) against Florida Gulf Coast’s Breana Stampfli with a 6-3, 6-3 No. 3 singles win
- Held on for a match-winning three-set victory against Stetson’s Carolina Meregalli at No. 4 singles, rallying for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 triumph (Apr. 2)… enjoyed a successful fall season in singles
- Won the Singles C Flight at the Mercer Bear Gridiron Classic (Sept. 12-14)
- Compiled a 25-8 overall doubles mark with a 16-2 record in dual matches and 9-6 in tournaments
- Posted a 5-0 doubles record in Atlantic Sun play
- Teamed with Esther Zuniga for much of the season before ultimately being paired with Marina Cunningham
- Went 14-7 overall with Zuniga, including 6-2 at No. 3 doubles


As a Freshman (2013-14)

- Notched a 3-3 singles record and a 5-5 doubles mark
- Captured a 6-1, 6-0 win over Lipscomb’s Sierra Troxel (Apr. 12) at No. 6 singles
- Won four of first six doubles matches, including an 8-2 No. 1 doubles decision over UNC Wilmington’s Olga Blank and Christine Kharkevich (Mar. 1) with Rebeca Pereira.


Other Experience

- Graduated from Universidad del Valle de Mexico in 2013
- Competed in the ITF Copa Casablanca A grade and the ITF Copa Tampico G4.

- Majoring in sport management
- Daughter of Miriam Montesinos and Andres Vazquez
- Has two brothers, Andres and Daniel, and one sister, Yara.
