JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball start ASUN play on Friday and Saturday as it travels up the road to face FGCU and Stetson.

THE SERIES: UNF leads 14-1
Last Meeting: After dropping the opening contest to the Eagles at the ASUN Tournament, the Ospreys bounced back to shut out the Eagles en route to winning the championship on the final day. During the regular season, UNF swept FGCU, 4-1, 5-0.

Last Meeting: The Ospreys clinched the 2016 ASUN title against No.1 Stetson with a thrilling three-set win at the No. 2 court to take the match 3-2. North Florida and Stetson split its regular season series with both teams sharing the regular season title.

QUICK HITS
- Courtney Miller and Katarina Raicevic have posted a 6-6 overall record with a 4-1 mark in the No. 2 match.
- At the No. 4 and 5 courts, Shannon McPherson and Nicole DeBolt are 6-4 on the season and own a two-match win streak after grabbing both victories against Spring Hill.
- North Florida finished 7-1 in the ASUN last season to share the regular season crown with the lone loss coming at then-ranked Stetson. UNF lost the first match before coming back to take the second one.
- Miller and Raicevic led from the No. 3 position in 2016 with a 7-1 mark, while Chaney Howard recorded the same mark with former player Ambre Desaulnay in the No. 4 position.

Last season, the Eagles ended up as the No. 3 seed with a 3-5 ASUN mark and 11-8 overall.
On courts one and two, Mackenzie Allen and Amanda Carroll have combined to post a team-best record of 7-2.
In the No. 3 spot, Katherine Puisis and Karissa Rhoades hold a 6-2 mark and are currently on a two-match win streak.

STETSON

Last week, Stetson beat then-ranked No. 9 Georgia State and South Carolina in two close matches, 3-2.
Darby Dunn and Kristin Lind have a team-best overall record 11-6 on courts one and two.
In the No.3 position, Kaylee Anderson and Emily Carroll have a 9-3 mark.
Stetson received Pair of the Week honors three of the past four weeks with Dunn/Lind winning two weeks and Carroll/Anderson winning the other.
Dunn and Lind won three matches against Top 10 opponents including a victory over No. 1 ranked USC last week to earn their honor.

North Florida continues ASUN play at Jacksonville on Friday, April 7 at Dolphin Beach. The back-to-back matches begin at 2 p.m.
