
Women's Tennis Wraps Up Fall at FIU

MIAMI, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis officially wraps the fall when it travels south to take part in the FIU Invitational beginning on Friday.Â
WHO'S WHO
Just five Ospreys made the trip to play in the tournament with freshmen Florencia Rossi and Eva Nyikos pairing up for a doubles team, while Irina Karangozishvili and Kinga Gartner take the other doubles spot. In singles, sophomore Lucia Montaño will also participate.
COBRA'S CORNER
"We are looking forward to closing our fall play at FIU. Most of the girls have had almost a month of practice since the last competition so we are looking to see improvements on specifics we have been working on. We have a great chance to end the fall on a great note and build confidence for the spring."

There are four singles brackets and two doubles. Each match will go to consolation rounds.

North Florida now takes the next few months to prepare for the spring season. The Ospreys have 16 home matches beginning with New Orleans on Friday, Jan. 26.
