SIESTA KEY, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball had its nine-game winning streak snapped against South Carolina and Florida State as the opponents each won, 3-2, on the second day of the Fiesta on Siesta on Saturday.

Against the Gamecocks, Jessalyn Kinlaw and Megan Crawshaw squeezed out a three-set victory in the No. 1 position, 20-22, 21-13, 15-10. Ambre Desaulnay and Chaney Howard took the win in the No. 4 spot, 21-18, 21-10. Desaulnay and Chaney are now 19-2 on the year.

North Florida relied on a win from Courtney Miller and Katarina Raicevic against No. 3 Florida State in the afternoon match. The pair cruised to a 23-21, 21-13 win for the Ospreys. The No. 5 pair of Carina Hoff and Emily Davanzo got the win due to a forfeit from the Seminoles.

UNF looks to get back into the win column against Grand Canyon at 9:30 a.m. to wrap up the weekend.
