#WBB Visits ETSU for Regular Season Road Finale

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – University of North Florida women's basketball plays its last road game of the regular season on Saturday when the Ospreys visit East Tennessee State. Tip is set for 7 p.m., from the MSHA Athletics Center.
This is the first time in program history that UNF finishes the road portion of its schedule at ETSU. Since joining the Atlantic Sun, UNF is 3-5 in road finales. However, UNF has been triumphant in its last two road finales. The Ospreys defeated Jacksonville 46-44 on a buzzer beater on Feb. 26, 2012 and then downed Lipscomb 61-49 on Mar. 2, 2013.
The Ospreys attempt to bounce back from a 79-63 setback at USC Upstate on Thursday. For the third straight road game, at trio of Ospreys scored double-digit points. Amber Robinson, Destinee Smith and Brittney Wright each tallied 10 points on Thursday night. Smith and Wright have also each scored 10-or-more points in the last three road games.
ETSU has dropped its last two games, including a 62-57 loss to Jacksonville on Thursday night. The Buccaneers' game with UNF is just their fourth time on their home court in the last month. ETSU concludes the regular season next weekend at Lipscomb and Northern Kentucky. Serena Clark is averaging a double-double with 10.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game for the season.
ETSU leads the all-time series 12-5 and won the last meeting 72-57 on Feb. 1 in Jacksonville. However, the last time the series was in Johnson City, Ki Conner tallied 23 points leading the Ospreys to a 62-56 win on Jan. 26, 2013.
