@OspreySwim Concludes Day 3 at the CCSA Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.— Amassing 123 points through three days of competition, the University of North Florida swimming and diving team holds the eighth-place spot in the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center.

The Ospreys opened Friday's competition with Natalie McCallum finishing in 13th place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.03. Amy Taylor followed up in the 200-yard freestyle time of 1:53.49 putting her in 16th place. McCallum then placed 12th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.39. The Ospreys' quartet of Janie Kennedy, Bridget Woods, McCallum and Rebeca Bernard placed seventh in the 400-yard medley relay after clocking a time of 3:53.27.

Liberty University continues to hold the top spot in the team standings with 471 points, followed by Florida Gulf Coast in second-place with 453. Georgia Southern (305), Davidson (257) and the University of the Incarnate World (216) round out the top five positions. Gardner-Webb (204) and Campbell (170) sit in sixth and seventh place, respectively.

Competition continues Saturday at 10 a.m., with the 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, 400-yard freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle and the 3-meter diving events on the schedule.
