
Swimming Finishes Successful Performance At ASUN Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – North Florida Swimming concluded a successful performance on Day Four of the 2026 ASUN Championships at the Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday.
Overall, seven program-record times were surpassed over the four-day conference meet.Â

North Florida earned five spots in the 100 Freestyle C Final. The Ospreys advanced two swimmers to the 200 Backstroke and four more in the 200 Breaststroke. Freshman Grace Burton swam a personal-best time in the 1650 Freestyle.Â

The 400 Freestyle Relay team closed out action at the ASUN Championships. Senior Victoria Torres notched a personal-best time as the leadoff leg.Â

"Today was the final day of the ASUN Championships," Head Coach Ian Coffey said. "We had very good swims in the morning session in all the events. Our 100 Freestyle group earned five spots in the C Final. We had two make it back in the 200 Backstroke for final. Four swimmers returned for the 200 Breaststroke. The 1650 swimmers had really good times with Grace Burton swimming a personal best. In the 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke and 200 Breaststroke we earned a good amount of points."

"We finished up the meet with our 400 Freestyle Relay with Victoria Torres swimming a personal best with her leadoff swim. It was a good meet. We broke records and swam a ton of personal bests. We'll be better and ready for next year."

North Florida awaits qualifiers for the 2026 National Invitational Championship on Thursday-Saturday, March 12-14 at Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training in Ocala, Fla.
