JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Nick Morrow announced a leadership change in the North Florida Swimming program on Tuesday.
"We thank Coach Coffey for his years of dedication to our Swimming student-athletes and program," Morrow said. "Ian has always been a great colleague and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
After 12 seasons at the helm, Ian Coffey will not return as Head Coach. Under his guidance, program records were eclipsed for 14 different events. He most recently coached North Florida to seven program-record marks and guided Kayla Daley to the program's first All-ASUN selection at the 2026 ASUN Championships.
A national search will commence immediately to identify the program's next Head Coach.
