
#WGOLF heads to Starmount Classic

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- After three weeks off from competition, the North Florida women's golf team returns to action Monday and Tuesday in the Starmount Fall Classic hosted by UNC Greensboro.
The Ospreys, who finished eighth in their season opener in Memphis, will be making their first appearance in the event being played at the par 71, 6, 265-yard layout of Starmount Forest Country Club. The 54-hole tournament features 36 holes of play Monday starting at 8:45 a.m.
UNF's lineup will consist of four sophomores and a true freshman. Belinda George, who leads the team with a 76.67 average, heads the travel roster and is joined by Tess Huber (79.00), Emelie Alpe (80.00), Kelly Aylwin (83.33) and freshman Lauren Coe (81.67).
The tournament field features 15 teams including UNF, UNCG, Maryland, Campbell, Gardner-Webb, Western Carolina, Richmond, James Madison, Jacksonville, Elon, High Point, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Stetson and Wofford.
Following Monday's opening rounds the Starmount is scheduled to conclude with 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
