GREENSBORO, N.C. – The North Florida women's golf completed 36 holes at the Starmount Fall Classic carding rounds of 308-315.
The Ospreys are in 15th place following the opening day total of 623. Sophomore Tess Huber leads the way in a tie for 17th after shooting 76-72 (148).
Fellow sophomore Emelie Alpe is tied for 33rd at 152 (75-77) while freshman Lauren Coe is tied for 60th at 158 (74-84). Sophomores Belinda George in a tie for 79th at 166 (83-83) and Kelly Aylwin in 82nd at 168 (85-83) round out the UNF lineup.
Chattanooga leads the team competition with a tournament total of 578, 10 shots ahead of Campbell (588). Maryland is third at 590 with High Point (595) and James Madison (596) rounding out the Top 5 teams. HPU's Sarah Bae posted back-to-back rounds of 70 to lead medalist play.
Tournament action at the Starmount Classic concludes Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes beginning at 9 a.m. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
