Sand Volleyball Heads to Charleston for Dual Tournament

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The North Florida sand volleyball team will play four duals this weekend as part of the College of Charleston Sand Classic being held at the Creekside Facility in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. UNF faces Pepperdine at 4 p.m. Friday in their opening match.
The Ospreys (1-0) return to the sand after earning a victory over rival Jacksonville in the program's debut on Mar. 9. After facing the Waves on Friday, UNF will play a pair of duals Saturday against Atlantic Sun foe Mercer (11 a.m.) and UAB (4 p.m.). North Florida concludes play in the event Sunday at 4 p.m. against the College of Charleston.
Following the Sand Classic, UNF hosts a pair of home events next weekend including a dual versus FAU (Mar. 30) and the North Florida Invite (Mar. 31-Apr. 1). All Osprey home matches will be played on the sand courts at Jacksonville Beach
