All of the money raised by students stays local, benefiting kids in our area. Each year, the hospitals treat more than 170,000 children, regardless of their family's ability to pay. Since Dance Marathon at the University of North Florida's inception three years ago, more than 700 students have successfully raised over $75,000 for the cause.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals was founded in 1983 as an international non-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of children. Through donations and funds raised by individuals and community organizations, Children's Miracle Network hospitals are able to treat 17 million children each year for every disease and condition imaginable-from asthma and broken bones to cancer and heart defects.
This year will mark our fourth year on campus! The event will take place throughout the night starting on Friday, March 2nd at the UNF Arena and will finish Saturday, the 3rd. Dancers will stand at 7:00pm on Friday night and will stay awake and on their feet until 12:04pm Saturday afternoon. Dance Marathon is always a lot of fun, so we can't wait to see you there!
