Ospreys Continue Home Stand versus Jackson State

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a solid home win Wednesday night, the North Florida basketball team continues its four-game home stand Friday against Jackson State at 7 p.m. in UNF Arena.
The Ospreys (2-4) look to remain undefeated at home this season after topping Wright State, 69-52, in their last outing. Jackson State enters the contest with a 1-5 mark on the season.
Jerron Granberry scored a season-high 19 points in the UNF's last game. Granberry, who has hit 10 treys in the last three games, leads the Ospreys in scoring at 11.4 points a game.
Sophomore newcomer Travis Wallace is the squad's top rebounder at 5.7 boards a contest and is listed second in scoring at 9.8 points per game. Junior Andy Diaz is averaging 9.7 points and 5.2 rebounds a game.
Friday's contest marks the first meeting between the Ospreys and Tigers on the hardwood. It marks UNF's second meeting with a team from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
Jackson State is coming off a 57-51 loss to Tulsa on Tuesday night. The Tigers feature a trio of players averaging in double-digits led by Kelsey Howard's 14.5 points per contest.
