JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida swimming and diving team continued the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championship with three more school records and another NCAA B-cut time.
“I am proud of the way that we have been swimming so far,” head coach Beth Harrell stated. “We have set six school records and Lyn Ann [Nelson] has had two NCAA B-cut times. I think that we are swimming really well as a team and I am looking forward to some fast times tomorrow. I think if we swim like I know we can, we should be able to break a couple of more school records tomorrow.”
Junior Lyn Ann Nelson earned two more All-CCSA accolades, while juniors Taylor Crosby, Megan Boudreau and Caroline Larsson also earned the distinction. The foursome comprised the 800-yard freestyle relay team that broke the UNF school record with a time of 7:34.31, en route to a third place finish and All-Conference honors.
