UNF (4-13) opened the day with a 4-1 loss to James Madison before being shutout 1-0 by
Amanda Moseley had a hit in both games to lead the UNF offense, while Shaina Dent pitched six innings of three-hit ball against
James Madison got off to an early start against the Lady Ospreys, scoring a run in the bottom of the first inning and two more in the third before taking a 4-0 lead with a run in the sixth. UNF finally got on the board in the seventh inning when Moseley reached on a one-out double and came around to score on an outfield error one batter later.
Devyn Findley (0-8) took the loss, giving up four earned runs on six hits in six innings of work.
Moseley and Ariana Godwin had UNF's only two hits against the Cavaliers.
The Lady Ospreys will close out the Gamecock Invitational with a game against Tennessee-Chattanooga Sunday at 3 p.m.
