LADY OSPREY SOFTBALL WEEKLY

Tournament play is the order of the weekend once again for the University of North Florida softball team, which will head to its third tournament of the season in Columbia, S.C.

The Lady Ospreys (4-10) are scheduled to take on four opponents over three days this weekend at the Gamecock Invitational on the campus of the University of South Carolina.

UNF is 2-8 in tournament play this year and will faceoff with a field that includes host South Carolina, along with James Madison, Virginia and UT-Chattanooga. UNF took on South Carolina last week at the UCF Early Bird Tournament, falling 2-1 to the Gamecocks in a contest that came down to the final inning. The Lady Ospreys have yet to see the other three teams this season.
