Lady Ospreys take homefield for the first time Wednesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Fans of the University of North Florida softball team will get a chance to see the Lady Ospreys a little earlier than expected on Wednesday. Due to the threat of afternoon rain showers, UNF's doubleheader against Albany will now start at 2 p.m. as opposed to its originally scheduled starting time of 4 p.m.

UNF (3-9) will take its home field for the first time this season after a pair of tournaments on the road as well as a doubleheader at UCF.

Albany (3-2) started its 2009 campaign this past weekend, taking second at Stetson's tournament after losing to the host Hatters in the tournament final on Sunday.

The Lady Ospreys were 15-6 at home last season, only losing one non-conference game at the UNF Softball Complex, and have compiled a 54-15 record at home since joining the NCAA Division ranks in 2005.
