The University of North Florida softball team will tangle with cross-town rival Jacksonville University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in a SunTrust River City Rumble matchup that begins a week of six games for the Lady Ospreys.
UNF (31-20, 8-6 A-Sun) reached the 30-win plateau for the second-straight week last week but had to endure an up-and-down week that saw the team squeeze a sweep of Gardner-Webb between a loss to UCF and a doubleheader sweep at the hands of USC Upstate.
UNF is 3-1 all-time against JU and swept a pair of games against the Dolphins at home two years ago.
The week will continue for UNF when it takes on Bethune-Cookman in a road doubleheader Wednesday before traveling to Buies Creek, N.C., for a conference series at Campbell on Saturday.
