The retirement of University of North Florida softball coach and the end of the careers of four seniors have been postponed thanks to a rainout this past weekend for the Lady Osprey softball team at Campbell. That rainout, however, won't postpone senior day activities Wednesday at the UNF Softball Complex.
Seniors Tori Ahern, Heather Hyde, Ashley Parenteau and Gwen Williams will all play their final home games Wednesday, while Wilmoth will line the field one last time before a doubleheader against Armstrong Atlantic State.
The Lady Ospreys (34-21, 10-6 A-Sun) were originally scheduled to play Alabama State on Wednesday, but will now take on former Peach Belt Conference foe AASU (26-17) after Alabama State pulled out of the doubleheader.
That pair of games begins an important week for UNF, which will also travel to conference frontrunner Florida Gulf Coast as well as in-state foe Stetson.
