Baseball locks up with GSU, UF this week

Ospreys are 2-0 all-time against Florida
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida baseball team will try to continue its out of conference success with games against Georgia Southern and Florida on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Ospreys will host the Georgia Southern Eagles at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. UNF will then travel to Gainesville, Fla., to take on the 13th-ranked Florida Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ospreys are 8-3 in non-conference games this season, which includes wins over nationally-ranked Mississippi State and UCF.
UNF is coming off a series win over Atlantic Sun Conference opponent East Tennessee State over the weekend in Johnson City, Tenn. After dropping the first game of the series on Friday, the Ospreys rebounded to sweep Saturday's doubleheader.
The Eagles lost two of three to College of Charleston over the weekend after winning six straight. GSU is hitting .350 as a team and is averaging almost 11 runs per game but is also giving up eight runs per contest. The Eagles defeated UNF in both meetings last season and hold a 3-1 all-time lead over UNF.
Florida took two of three from LSU over the weekend and has defeated three ranked teams this season. The Gators have a team ERA of 3.32 and rank 16th in the nation in that category heading into last week. UNF holds a 2-0 all-time series lead over UF, with the Ospreys coming out on top 15-8 in last year's meeting. Florida will take on No. 2 Florida State on Tuesday before playing UNF.
