
Ospreys to tussle with Bucs

UNF will try to extend four-game winning streak
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida baseball team will look to extend its four game winning streak this weekend when it heads to Johnson City, Tenn., for a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference series with East Tennessee State.
The Ospreys are coming off big wins over UCF and USF on Tuesday and Wednesday. UNF upset No. 19 UCF 8-5 on Tuesday in Orlando, giving the Ospreys their fifth all-time win over a ranked Division I opponent. Senior T.J. Gaudy went 3-for-4 and had the game-winning hit, while sophomore RHP Tucker Pryor picked up the win after throwing 5.1 innings of scoreless relief and allowing just two hits.
UNF's heart showed through on Wednesday in its 4-3 win over USF in 10 innings on Wednesday. Gaudy scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th on a wild pitch Sophomore T.J. Thompson went 2- for-4 with a double and scored twice. Junior RHP Ty Pryor picked up the win after tossing 2.2 innings of hitless relief.
ETSU is coming off a 10-1 loss to Tennessee Tech on Wednesday night. The Bucs tallied just five hits in the loss. ETSU has lost two straight but carries a four-game conference winning streak, which includes a three-game sweep of Jacksonville last weekend. The Bucs took two of three from the Ospreys last season in Jacksonville.
