It might be spring break on the campus of the University of North Florida, but the UNF softball team isn't taking a break from competition when it hosts four doubleheaders over the next week.
The action begins Wednesday when Jackson State comes to town, followed by a visit from Atlantic Sun foe Belmont on Thursday. UNF steps out of conference action again Saturday when it hosts Rider before wrapping the week up with a pair of games against Canisius on Monday.
The Lady Ospreys have been no strangers to jam-packed weeks. The teams is coming off a stretch of 12 games in eight days that saw UNF visit Charlotte, N.C., and Athens, Ga., before returning home to open conference play. The Lady Ospreys finished 5-7 in that stretch and earned splits against A-Sun foes Lipscomb and Mercer to come into the week tied for fourth in league play.
