The University of North Florida softball team opens its home schedule this weekend with a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference doubleheaders.
The Lady Ospreys (16-12) will host Lipscomb (8-11) in their home opener on Friday at 3 p.m. before Mercer (16-9) comes to town Saturday for a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
UNF is coming off an extended road trip that saw it go 3-5 in a pair of games against Miami (Ohio), Charlotte, East Carolina and Georgia. The Lady Ospreys split with everyone in that group with the exception of Georgia, which took a pair of games from the Lady Ospreys.
Friday's doubleheader will not only mark the Lady Ospreys' first home games of the year, but it will also be the team's first appearance on ASUN.TV. All four of UNF's games this weekend will be broadcast live and will also be available on-demand at ASUN.TV at the end of the day.
