JU (20-5, 10-2 A-Sun) began the game on a 10-2 run before putting together a 23-5 run to open the second half of play. UNF (11-13, 6-6 A-Sun) saw its two-game winning streak come to an end as well as its three-game winning streak on the road. The loss was also the fifth straight for UNF in the SunTrust River City Rumble and kept the Lady Ospreys winless at Swisher Gymnasium.
JU's biggest advantage in the game came from the free throw line where the Dolphins shot 25 free throws, hitting 15 of them, compared to UNF, which hit 7-of-12 free throws.
UNF shot 33.3 percent for the game, hitting 19-of-57 shots, compared to JU, which hit 23-of-53 shots from the field.
Jennifer Bowen led the Lady Ospreys with a game-high 16 points, while three Dolphins scored in double figures. Ashley Williams led that trio with 12 points.

The Lady Ospreys held their own in the opening frame without
Willonda Windham and Dominique Barbosa scored UNF's final three points of the half, after Moore, Bowen and Juliemay Syquio scored UNF's first 22 points of the half.
Virginia Gregoire led the Dolphins with seven points, helping stake JU to a 31-25 lead at the break.
UNF's offense was sluggish once again to start the second half, scoring only three points in the first five minutes of the half, allowing the Dolphins to grab a 38-28 lead. The Lady Ospreys hit two of their first 12 shots in the half as JU began to pull away, building a 45-30 advantage.
UNF put together a 7-0 run late in the game to pull within 12 points, but ran out of time after Regina Omoite hit a 3-pointer to halt the run.
UNF won the battle of the boards 39-37, while forcing JU into 18 turnovers and turning the ball over 24 times. Jennifer Guldager led UNF on the boards with eight rebounds, while Crystal Grable's 11 boards matched her 11 points to lead the Dolphins.
