Quoting coach Scott Schroeder: “The field for this event is very strong. There are a number of teams here that could contend for a national title this year. A number of them fared well in last year's NCAA Championship. This tournament gives us an opportunity to go up against the best in the nation and see where we stand. The golf course might be in the best shape I have ever seen it for this tournament and it should play hard.”
