William & Mary pays visit to UNF Arena at 7 p.m.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 6, 2007) - The University of North Florida men's basketball team will try to get back on the winning track this week when it welcomes William & Mary to UNF Arena for a non- conference showdown.
UNF is coming off a 10-day layoff but has enjoyed success at home this season - winning three out of four times out, including a pair of preseason events. During the layoff, the Ospreys were able to get two key players healthy again in freshmen Justin Cecil (ankle) and DeVon Jones (concussion). Both are expected back in the lineup against the Tribe after being absent or slowed considerably in the Ospreys' last three games.
Sophomore transfer Stan Januska is also back practicing with the team after missing the first six games with a broken foot. He is a possibility to play against the Tribe as well.
UNF and William & Mary met last season in Willliamsburg, Va., with the Ospreys falling 61-44 in a game where the Tribe caught fire in the second half to break open a close game and pull away. UNF trailed 21-18 at halftime but shot only 33 percent for the game.
