Nick Morrow enters his sixth year at the helm of North Florida Athletics and his second as the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics in 2026-27.Â

Morrow was elevated to Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics on Oct. 13, 2025. As Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Morrow is responsible for the management and operation of the North Florida Athletics department that includes 19 competitive NCAA Division I teams in the ASUN Conference with 300 student-athletes and 150 employees.Â
Â
North Florida Athletics has experienced unprecedented success under the leadership of Morrow. The department has eclipsed record numbers in both fundraising and donor count every year. Under Morrow, North Florida Athletics has surpassed $20 million raised in the last four years, as of 2024-25, with record totals set in ticket sales, sponsorships, external events, grants, concessions and licensing revenue.Â

Morrow guided the department through a record-shattering fundraising year in 2024-25. North Florida Athletics raised an all-time high of $8.07 million from 2,893 donors, setting a new department fundraising record. For the third-consecutive year, North Florida Athletics surpassed 2,800 donors—a new milestone by the department. Furthermore, North Florida has celebrated record-setting Giving Days for six-straight years.

The success has allowed North Florida Athletics to significantly enhance its resources for student-athletes as well as the profile of its facilities. Resources in the areas of athletic training, strength and conditioning, mental health, mental performance, academics and nutrition have all increased significantly over the past four years to assist in the holistic development of every student-athlete. Morrow has been involved in spearheading renovations to every athletic facility on campus. Under his leadership, North Florida Athletics completed projects that include elevated LED lighting at every facility, upgrades to multiple sound systems and video boards and the renovation of the Texana Bank Suite and CSI Companies Court at UNF Arena. Other projects include a renovated weight room, athletic training room and field replacement at Hodges Stadium, expanded broadcast capabilities to every facility, the expansion of premium seating and fan experience options across all sports, renovations and expansions to the locker room and team spaces for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Volleyball at UNF Arena and the field renovation at Harmon Stadium.Â

North Florida Athletics earned its highest Division I era finish and paced all Atlantic Sun Conference institutions in the 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup competition. North Florida placed 114th out of 303 Division I institutions and sixth out of 13 in the state of Florida. North Florida posted the top finish and aggregate score in the conference and ranked 43 spots ahead of the next closest member. It is the highest in Division I program history and eclipsed a 119th-place finish in 2020-21.Â

On August 26, 2025, the Jacksonville City Council passed a resolution honoring the success of North Florida Athletics women's programs, highlighted by Cross Country/Track and Field’s Smilla Kolbe, Softball's Allison Benning and Women's Soccer’s Zara Siassi combining to earn nine All-American selections in 2024-25.Â

North Florida Athletics has elevated the academic standard under Morrow, which led consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference Presidents' Academic Cups in 2024-25, which is awarded annually by the conference to the member institution with the highest academic achievement among its student-athletes. North Florida Athletics has achieved the highest Academic Progress Rate (APR) in the ASUN Conference each of the last four years.Â

Morrow became the seventh Director of Athletics in department history on May 28, 2021. Prior to his promotion, Morrow served as an essential Senior Staff member in the North Florida Athletic Department for over a decade.Â

Morrow joined the North Florida Athletics staff in 2011 and served in roles as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development, External and Financial Operations. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer, where he oversaw all financial and business operations.Â

In addition, Morrow served as the Director of the Osprey Club, where he managed fundraising efforts and the development staff. Under his leadership, the department set records for both increased total reportable revenue and increased total donor count, in addition to all-time revenue records in annual fundraising events.

Prior to North Florida, Morrow served as Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities Operations and Events at Maryland from 2005-11. He spent five years from 2000-05 as the Event Coordinator, Security Supervisor, Building Coordinator and Accounting Assistant for the University of Florida's Stephen C. O'Connell Center before his time at Maryland. Morrow also worked stints with Florida’s Department of Recreation and University Athletic Association in the area of Operations and Facilities.

Morrow received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 2003, and also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College in 2009.Â

A native of Jacksonville and graduate of Nease High School, Morrow is married to the former Roslyn Moore. The couple is proud parents of three children, daughter, Ameila, and twin sons, Jack and Cole.
