As a junior, 2008-09: (Indoor Track): Competed in the triple jump at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational finishing 9th place with a distance of 10.31 meters … finished fourth in the A-Sun Championships, with a height of 1.68m in the high jump. (Outdoor Track): Specialized in the high jump competing in six different events … finished second in the A-Sun Championships with a high jump of 1.70m which was her personal best … finishes third in the high jump at the FSU Relays with a height of 1.60m.
As a sophomore, 2007-08: (Indoor Track): Competed in three of the four meets, including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships where she earned all-conference honors in the high jump with her second-place height of 1.68m…Competed in the ERAU Challenge on Feb. 2, finishing second in the high jump (1.58m) and third in the triple jump (10.44m)…Finished first overall in the high jump (1.63m) at the Tiger Invitational on Feb. 16. (Outdoor Track): Competed in six meets…Finished third in the high jump at the Snowbird Invitational (1.65m), Pepsi Florida Relays (1.60m), and Seminole Invitational (1.65m)…She also finished third in the high jump (1.65m) at the A-Sun Conference Championships, garnering all-conference honors…Competed in the high jump at the FSU Relays (1.65m) and UCF Invitational (1.65m), finishing in third place at both meets.
As a freshman, 2006-07: (Indoor Track): Competed in four meets, including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, participating in the high jump ... earned all-conference honors in the high jump at the A-Sun championships, after finishing in second place with a height of 1.67m. (Outdoor Track): Competed in seven of the Lady Ospreys eight meets participating in the 400m dash and high jump ... finished the 400m dash in 1:04.90, while at the Snowbird Invitational on March 2 ... posted best height in the high jump at the Snowbird Invitational (1.68m) while finishing in second place ... finished the conference championships in fifth place in the high jump with a height of 1.65m.
High School: Was a four year letterwinner at A.C. Mosley High... Tied the school high jump record at 5'6"... member of the 4x400m relay team that broke the school and county record... placed sixth in state as a sophomore and third as a junior and senior... was the 2003-04 best field event athlete... In 2005-06 was team MVP and Principal's Award winner... also played soccer, basketball and volleyball.
Personal: Majoring in psychology... born Aug. 8, 1988... daugher of Cinda and Curtis Trexler... mother Ruth passed away from breast cancer... has two older brothers Curt and Buck and a younger brother David and a sister Shelby... Was also recruited by UF... favorite pro team is the Atlanta Braves... future goals includes going to Europe.
