Competed in cross country and track & field at Vanguard High School... Member of two-time District and Regional championship cross country squad at VHS... Prep team finished 3rd in 2014 3A State Meet in cross country, while she garnered a 7th place individual showing... Competed in the 1,600m, 3,200m, 800m and 4x800m as a prep trackster... Earned solid finishes at 2015 3A State Championships: 5th in 800m, 6th in 1,600m and 3rd in 4x800m relay... Posted prep personal best marks of 18:25 (cross country), 2:17 (800m), 5:08 (1,600m) and 11:38 (3,200m)... Daughter of Bruce and Dawn Carpenter... Born May 21, 1997...
