Fall 2006: Posted an impressive fall season, earning a team-best 11 wins in singles (11-7) while playing in five tournaments ... won the NYC singles draw at the Ole Miss Classic Sept. 15-17 by winning four straight matches to open the fall ... knocked off Aleksandra Zakrzynska from Arkansas-Little Rock in the semifinals, 6-3, 7-6(5) before taking out Elvira Yuspova from Middle Tennessee State in the championship match ... followed that performance by winning the consolation bracket in the A flight at the C.L. Varner Memorial a week later ... defeated Tsippy Waterman from Nova Southeastern in the consolation final, 6-1, 6-7, 10-6 ... won a pair of consolation matches at the ITA Regional tournament in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Oct. 20-22 ... advanced to the doubles semifinals of her flight with teammate Catalina Castillo at the FSU Seminole Invitational ... finished the season with a strong performance in doubles at the UNF Invitational in November - marching to the finals of the B flight with Vanessa Sanchez before losing to Johanna Dahlback and Sofia Haggstrom from Armstrong Atlantic, 9-7.
2005-06: Second-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection ... played mostly at the No. 3 singles position for the Lady Ospreys in the spring ... posted a 13-6 overall record in singles, all in the spring ... was a perfect 4-0 in singles from the No. 4 position, which included a key victory against Gabriela Duch from 44th-ranked South Florida (6-4, 6-3) ... also upended Soni Bernal from 14th-ranked Rollins (Division II) 6-1, 6-1 on April 4 in Orlando ... was 5-1 in singles in conference play, also helping the Lady Ospreys earn a point against cross town rival Jacksonville University in the River City Rumble rivalry series on Feb. 21 when she knocked of JU[apos]s Lena Willi 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles ... win over Willi started a 13-match winning streak that lasted until April 9, when she fell to Troy[apos]s Claudia Strauss 4-6, 2-6 in the squad[apos]s season finale ... teamed with Catalina Castillo in doubles, finishing the spring season 11-6 overall and 4-1 in A-Sun play ... duo was 10-5 at the No. 1 position, which included a victory over eighth-ranked Valdosta State on Feb. 19.
Prior to UNF: Enrolled at UNF in January 2006 ... before that played two seasons at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga. (2004 and 2005) ... was ranked as high as No. 4 nationally in the NJCAA in 2004 and as high as No. 3 in 2005, helping her squad to a pair of regional titles and appearances in the NJCAA national tournament both years ... team finished ranked seventh and 10th, respectively, during her two season ... named team MVP both seasons ... advanced to the national semifinals (NJCAA) both seasons in singles ... also won ITA Southeast Region titles in 2004 in singles and doubles and in singles in fall 2005 ... began playing competitive tennis at age 9 ... played under coaches Jorge Paz and Roly Nieva ... won her state and regional tournaments in Argentina each year from 1995 to 2000 ... was ranked No. 1 in her province and region in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000 ... was ranked No. 6 in Argentina in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 and No. 4 nationally in 1999.
