Competed in cross country & track and field all four years of high school...placed first in all but one cross country meet her senior season...also made regionals for track as a freshman and sophomore, along with appearance at state meet for both XC and track as a junior...placed fourth overall at the state meet.

Also cheered for her HS team...daughter of Scott and Nicole Yates...has two siblings, Lark (25) and Grace (12)...born on Sept. 19, 2005...plans to major in nursing.
