Ran both cross country and track for six years...was top-10 honors twice in XC nationals...gold regional champs his sophomore year and bronze regional champs his junior year...competed in 1500m, 2000mS, 3000m, 3000mS and 5000m during HS...top-three finishes all four years of HS, including top finisher in both years as upperclassman, in 2000mS at Junior Boys Steeplechase Track & Field Nationals...also was runner-up in the 1500m for same meet, as well as the 5000m at U20 Men Track & Field Nationals.
