Ramon Simonetti finished his second season as assistant head coach following the 2018-19 season. Simonetti helped the Ospreys to the program's second-ever ASUN Championship and berth to the NCAA tournament in his first year, while aiding UNF in reaching the ASUN Championship match in 2019.
Simonetti was a two-time All-ASUNÂ first team honoree while playing at USC Upstate.
Simonetti was also an ASUNÂ All-Tournament team selection, while earning ASUN All-Academic honors as a senior. A native of Passo Fundo, Brazil, Simonetti also garnered ASUN All-Freshman honors in his first season with the Spartans.
After graduating, he worked at Club Med academies for a year coaching junior and professional players and also traveled with the squads to ITF tournaments.
In 2016, he graduated with a degree in sport and exercise science with a 3.71 GPA.
