Men's Tennis Shines In Singles Play At Conference Individual Tournament

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida men's tennis picked up 10 singles wins at the Conference Individual Tournament at the UNF Tennis Complex.Â
The Ospreys welcomed teams from across the ASUN conference with host North Florida, Bellarmine, Abilene Christian, North Alabama, UT Arlington, Lipscomb, Florida Gulf Coast, Eastern Kentucky, Stetson and Austin Peay State all having players in singles and doubles action.
Andreas Scott, Enrique Pena, Youssef Labbene and Breno Marques were the Ospreys in action during the weekend. North Florida joined Stetson, North Alabama and FGCU as the only schools to have all four players in the main singles draw.Â
Three of the eight players in the singles main draw quarterfinals were Ospreys, as Labbene, Marques and Scott all earned singles triumphs to move on to the quarterfinals main draw.
Scott would go on to pick up his third singles win of the weekend to advance to the main draw semifinals. Â
