FRESHMAN (2010-11)

(Cross Country): Clocked a career-best time of 26:55.32 at the Mountain Dew Invitational, placing 42nd in his first 8,000 meter collegiate race…Ran a personal-record 26:10.50 at the Atlantic Sun Championships…Competed at the NCAA South Championships, completing the 10,000-meter course in 34:44.41. (Indoor Track): Placed fifth in the mile at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, running a personal-best 4:22.42…Ran a 2:40.91 in the 1,000 meters at the Tiger Paw Invitational…Set a personal record in the 800 meters at the Atlantic Sun Championships, running a 2:07.35. (Outdoor Track): Ran a 4:14.22 in the 1,500 meters at the UNF Spring Break Invitational, his only meet of the spring.

PREP AND PERSONAL

Coached by Eileen Givens and Ray Friedman…named Rookie of the Year (2007), Most Improved (2008) and Most Valuable Runner (2009) by high school team…holds the school record in the 800 meters and 4x800 meter relay…earned First-Team All-District and All-Area from freshman to senior year for track and field, including First-Team All-Region during sophomore and senior years…honor student and member of the Honor Society in high school…also played basketball freshman and sophomore years and earned All-District honors...Birthday: Sept. 14, 1991…Parents: Ted and Eleni Fotopoulos…Siblings: Ereni and Chris…Major is undecided.
