Biography

2018 (Freshman)
  • Appeared in 15, starting five, all at designated hitter. 
  • Picked up his first-career hit and RBI in a win against Radford Februrary 18. 
  • Scored his first run as an Osprey while driving in another with a single as UNF topped Southern Illinois Feb. 25.  

Prior to UNF
  • A three-year letterwinner at Jupiter High School where he won a district title as a junior and took the region as a senior.
  • Received a pair of North All-Conference First-Team and 9A All-District Team honors.
  • Rawlings Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and All Region Second Team as a senior.
  • Notched underclass honorable mention and second-team all-county laurels.

  • Son of Luis and Traci Martinez
  • Has one three siblings: Alli, Lexi and Aidan
  • Father played baseball at UNF and his uncle played baseball at Florida.
  • An exercise science major
