- Started off the season at the extras pair, defeating No. 17 Georgia State’s Bekah Brodbeck and Bailey Hatchett in straight sets.
- Went 2-0 February 22 thanks to wins against the No. 4 pair from No. 10 FIU and the No. 3 pair on No. 18 FAU.

2019
- Carolyn's highest MoVR rating for 2019 was 35.440.
- Went 7-5 overall and 5-3 as an extra pair.
- Registered a 5-2 record at the five slot.

- Posted a season-long seven-match winning streak between March 8 and March 16.
2018
- Paired with Casey Justice to go 11-4; Cain finished with 15 wins overall.
- Finished the season winning nine of her final 11 matches.
- Went 5-1 in ASUN play.
- Her .750 winning percentage was good for eighth in the league.
Prior to UNF
- Played for Dulles Volleyball under the direction of Seng Chiu.
- Named to the 2016 JVA Beach Watch List and earned a spot on the USAV HP A4 team.
- For indoor, helped the team to a state semifinal as a junior and a conference finalist as a senior.
- A two-time All-Virginia 21A West first team honoree as well as an all-region selection in 2015.
