JUNIOR (2010-11)
(Cross Country): Competed in five meets for the Ospreys…placed 18th at the USC Upstate Invitational with a time of 26:31.22 as UNF won the meet…ran a season-best 8,000 meter time of 26:26.38 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships to help UNF to a fifth place finish…Ran for UNF in the NCAA South Region Championships and clocked a personal-best 10,000 meter time of 32:48.49. (Indoor Track): Ran a personal-best 9:13.39 in the 3,000 meters at the Tiger Paw Invitational…Clocked a 15:50.75 in the 5,000 meters at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships. (Outdoor Track): Set a new personal record in the 1,500 meters by running a 4:09.47 at the USF Collegiate Meet…Clocked a 15:37.03 in the 5,000 meters at the FSU Relays, besting his previous record by almost 15 seconds.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
(Cross Country): Ran in six meets over the course of the season…clocked an 8,000 meter time of 26:39.91 at the Ron Pynn Invitational…finished 10th (26:50) at the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invite…placed 24th at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, posting a time of 27:11…competed at the NCAA South Regional where he finished 125th on the 10,000 meter course with a time of 34:17.93.(Indoor Track): Did not compete. (Outdoor Track): Clocked a season-best 1,500 meter time of 4:09.22, besting last year’s time by nine seconds, at the UNF Osprey Challenge…Set a personal-best by 50 seconds in the 5,000 meters, running a time of 15:50.74 at the FSU Seminole Invite to place fourth…also competed in the 3,000 meters at the UNF Ospreys Challenge where he posted a season-best time of 9:19.00.
FRESHMAN (2008-09)
(Cross Country): Competed in four of six meets…posted his best finish in the UF Gator Invite on Sept. 20 with a time of 28:21.14…finished 15th out of a field of 100 runners in the FSU Invitational with a time of 26:24.05. (Indoor Track): Recorded a personal-best of 9:34.79 in the 3,000 meters at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational. (Outdoor Track): Raced in four of the Ospreys’ outdoor meets.
PREP AND PERSONAL
Ran track and cross country in his junior and senior years for Lawton Chiles High School...in 2007, he placed eighth at regionals for cross country...his cross country team won districts in 2005 and 2006...was an All-Area Honorable Mention in his junior year and earned First-Team All-Area in his senior year for cross country...in 2008, he was fifth in the state in the 4x800 meter relay...named First-Team All-Area in his senior year for track…Birthday: Feb. 13, 1990...Parents: David and Laura Brown…Siblings: Lucas and Sarah...Majoring in Psychology.
